District 032

On January 28, 2017 ( coincidentally first day of the "Chinese New Year") Me and 5 others had a photowalk somewhere around Carbon Market in "District 032" or Province of Cebu. We immersed and interacted with the citizens in the area while taking photos.  

I found this old lady staring blankly which seemed to be have an early morning contemplation.

As early as 5:00 AM, the market is already swarming with vendors and consumers that are hoping to start their day early and productive.

That man sitting in his motorcycle is waiting for her wife which is buying inside the market.

Beside the Magellan's cross, we stumbled upon these two happy street children. I tried to take a candid picture of them while they're talking but the kid on the right noticed me. I thought I blew my chance but instead they posed and smiled at my camera. I love how these kids smiled despite the deep situation they are experiencing. I like to think that they chose to find happiness within their situation.
